Pray for University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Launceston and their upcoming Mid Year Conference from 1-3 July.

Pray for the Campus Bible Study at University of NSW evangelistic events happening in Bible studies across the first week of July; that people would be open to hearing the gospel and that students would be able to follow up well with their friends.

AFES FOCUS || Pray that FOCUS Staff can effectively implement training received at their recent FOCUS Staff Conference.

Pray for the University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Hobart in the wake of the Dark Mofo Festival that has recently concluded; that as the world offers darkness as something to be celebrated, and ‘progress’ as something that must take us away from God, students might instead reflect the timeless and life-giving light of Christ to their friends and classmates.

Pray that Bathurst Christian Students at Charles Sturt University would grow in their love and knowledge of God from MYC as it runs from 6-10 July, and that they would better understand Guidance. Pray also that this would be a time of growing deeper connections within BCS and between the other CSU Christian groups.

Pray for the students who will attend the Orange Christian Students at Charles Sturt University MYC from 6-10 July; that they would apply all they learn and continue to grow as ministers of the Gospel on campus.

Pray for University of Western Australia Christian Union; that at Mid Year Conference, from 6-10 July, students would understand the significance of the resurrection and allow it’s truth to shape how they live their daily lives.

Pray that in line with the AFES Mission statement we will constantly be in prayerful dependence upon God for all that we do on every campus for his glory.

Pray for Graduate Christian Union at the University of Melbourne on their planning day on 8 July.

Give thanks for the Horizons Southern Europe team who are currently halfway through their cross-cultural mission exposure placement in Italy and the Balkans. Pray for them and give thanks as they meet with missionaries, learn about cross-cultural mission and begin to discern their own suitability for future service. Pray also for opportunities to be involved in ministries during the trip and for good team cohesion.

AFES Apprenticeships || Mark 10:45 “For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Pray for Apprentices to keep growing as humble godly servants who marvel at Christ and look to his example as they lead others.

Pray for the Melbourne Uni GCU Mini summit on 10 July; that their members are able to enjoy a break from studies or work, to enjoy fellowship with each other and worshiping Jesus together.

Pray for Sydney University Evangelical Union and for the many students and staff who are readying to return to campus to resume study and ministry; that they will see their life, study and ministry as serving the Lord, building his kingdom rather than their own, and that student leaders in the EU will lead holding fast to the gospel and godliness this semester.

Pray for Christian Union, Macquarie University, Sydney as they head off to MYC from 13-17 July; that students might come to hear the good news of Jesus and have their lives transformed.

Pray for Monash University, Clayton’s Christian Union and FOCUS’s Summit camp happening from 13-17 July on the topic of evangelism; that it will be a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with one another, grow in God’s Word and be encouraged to try evangelism

Pray for Christian Union at Deakin University Burwood, Victoria; that during the O-week stalls God will provide good connections between all the clubs and the student union and that nothing would get in the way of new students connecting with the gospel.

Pray for University of New England, Armidale Christians United, and for God’s wisdom in the formation of a new committee; that God will raise up faithful people for the committee, who are wanting to proclaim the name of Jesus on campus at UNE.

Pray that AFES will double our reach in calling people to turn back to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Pray for the Uni Fellowship Launceston mission group running next semester.

AFES Apprenticeships || 2 Timothy 1:8 – “Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about their Lord nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.” Pray Apprentices would not be ashamed of Jesus Christ and guard the gospel and that they would entrust the gospel to faithful students who will be able to teach others.

Pray for Uni Fellowship Hobart staff as much organising and preparation is underway at the start of a new semester; that in the coming months they may be encouraged by all that God is accomplishing through their faithful service alongside students on campus.

Pray that students from the University of Wollongong Uni Bible Group would be amazed by God’s greatness and purposes as they explore His mission at their Mid-Year Conference from 20–24 July; that He would deepen their love for Christ and lead them to gladly give their lives so that His glory would be known among all nations.

Pray that in line with AFES’ second value, we will constantly shape all our methods, our ministries, and our mission by the Scriptures.

Pray for CU Deakin Uni Burwood; that the many students who came to Summit will deeply understand and apply God’s holiness as well as depending on and growing in his holiness as they start the new semester.

Pray that they committee of Bathurst CS CSU would lead the group wisely this semester while their staff worker is on long service leave, and that the guest speakers would share Jesus clearly.

Pray for Bendigo Christian Union at La Trobe University, Bendigo as they run the Luke Drama from 26-27 July; that many students would come and hear the gospel and for the students as they prepare for the Drama.

Pray for CU Mac Uni as they prepare for kickstart week from 27-31 July: for their university stall and picnics that they will run and for all the students they will share the good news with.

Pray for CU UWA Perth and their Dial-a-Donut campus mission from 27 July; that students at the CU would be excited to participate and that God would prepare the hearts of non-CU students to be reached through this mission.

Pray for the EU Sydney Uni’s annual conference from 27-31 July including for Rowan Kemp as he speaks on the doctrine of God; that God may revive the hearts of those that attend, both those who do not know him and those that do, to love him all the more.

Pray for the CU and FOCUS Monash Uni Clayton’s start of Semester 2 on 27 July; that students will feel rejuvenated for a new semester, to grow in their evangelism skills from the Summit camp and for the growth and student engagement of the different ministries: Gospel communities (Bible studies), Walk-up, prayer meetings, courses and main sessions.

Pray that AFES will double our numbers offering themselves for Missionary Service.

Pray for CU UNE Armidale, as they continue their weekly events including weekly Campus Bible Talks; that people will continue to come and hear the good news about Jesus, as well as be encouraged to share the good news to the people at UNE.

AFES FOCUS || Pray for FOCUS Staff to teach well and FOCUS students to learn well at upcoming MYCs, and that all will come to or grow in faith in Jesus.

Pray for the election of a new Orange CS CSU student committee on 28 August; that many of the new people who came in Semester 1 seeking to find out more about Jesus would return in Semester 2 ready to investigate Jesus further.
