Please pray for Campus Bible Study at University of NSW as they run Easter mission events from 1-10 April; that people on campus would hear the word of God and the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Pray for University of Queensland Evangelical Students, Brisbane and the Easter Week stalls being held from 30 March – 1 April; that there would be fruitful conversations, a good turnout from returning students to help out and that God would work in the hearts of those who interact with the stalls, and that they would be eager to learn more about following Jesus.

Pray for Melbourne University Christian Union’s J-Week Outreach being held from 30 March – 2 April as CU hands out hot cross buns and seek to have gospel conversations; that this also garners a response for non-christians to attend the 1 April event ‘A Fresh Look at Jesus’.

Pray for Evangelicals on Campus, at the Australian Catholic University, North Sydney ‘Mission Boost’ being held on 1 April; that EOC members would be bold, thinking about friends to invite to the event and being equipped to evangelise.

Pray for Sunshine Coast Christian Students at University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland and their walk-up evangelism where they will be handing out chocolate and UniSC Christian cards from 30 March – 1 April.

AFES FOCUS || Pray that leading up to Easter God would bring many international students to FOCUS meetings and open their hearts to trust Jesus or know more about Him.

Pray for University of Western Australia Christian Union and their Easter Bible talks being held on 31 March and 2 April; that students would feel encouraged to invite their friends and that free hot cross buns draws people in.

Pray for Monash University, Clayton’s Christian Union and FOCUS and their ‘Why the cross?’ stall being held from 31 March to 2 April; that many CU members will feel encouraged to help out, to be confident in explaining the Gospel and its goodness and that many students will be reached to know of the Gospel over Easter.

Pray for Credo UTS; annual Easter Time Conference being held from 2-6 April: for the 30 first years and 9 explorers coming; that it would a time of encouragement, connecting and coming to faith for explorers.

Pray for Christian Union at Deakin University Burwood, Victoria as they run five days of on-campus Easter mission. Thank God for the conversations that have happened so far and pray for those to come; that he would be growing people in curiosity and desire for something greater.

AFES FOCUS || Pray for FOCUS groups holding Easter or mid-session camps from 3-6 April; that international students can be evangelised and built-up in Christ.

Pray for Curtin Christian Union, Curtin University, Perth’s efforts to spread the gospel faithfully, especially during Easter time.

Pray for Graduate Christian Union at the University of Melbourne as they run stalls proclaiming the gospel across the campus.

Pray for the non-Christians investigating Jesus at Bendigo Christian Union. Please pray that God would continue to work in their hearts and they would continue to be curious about the gospel.

Pray for University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Launceston and the organising of their Mid-Year Conference.

Pray for the FOCUS Monash Uni Clayton getaway being held from 8-10 April; that many international students will register, especially the non-Christians who attend FOCUS, and that they will learn more about Jesus and grow in friendships.

AFES Apprenticeships || In 1 Timothy 4:16, Paul exhorts Timothy, in Christian leadership, to “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” Pray that apprentices and their trainers will take heed and do likewise.

Pray that the events and weekly Bible studies run by the Notre Dame Bible Fellowship at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle would help build fellowship and community between members of the fellowship, help students who are seeking a Christian community to find one, and be God’s witness to the campus.

Pray for the University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Hobart as they host singer-songwriter Colin Buchanan on 10 April for an evening of song, story and faith; that many will be led to attend and be inspired and challenged as Colin reflects deeply about what it means to be Christian.

Pray Australian National University, Canberra FOCUS students; that they would be bold in inviting their non-Christian friends to FOCUS events and to read the Bible with them.

Pray that in line with the AFES Mission statement we will constantly be in prayerful dependence upon God for all that we do on every campus for his glory.

Pray for University of New England, Armidale Christians United during Easter, and the mid-trimester break; that the students will have the boldness to invite and encourage their fellow classmates and friends to come along to Easter services.

Pray that new friendships would continue to grow in Bathurst Christian Students at Charles Sturt University, and that their understanding of Christ’s love would be growing deeper. Pray also that the mid-semester break from 13-27 April would be restful.

Pray for Evangelicals on Campus, at the Australian Catholic University, Strathfield and thank God for the First Years’ zeal and keenness to invest in Jesus.

Pray for Ballarat Christians at Uni students, at Federation University as they study and complete assignments throughout April; that they would have focus, good time management, and peace instead of stress or overwhelm.

Pray for Melbourne Uni CU’s Prayer and Praise Night being held in mid-April; that CU students would be encouraged to look back to God during a potentially busy and stressful time of semester.

Pray that University of Southern Queensland Christian Students students would be on board with the vision of the campus group and that a culture of prayerfulness and evangelism would grow.

Pray for Uni Bible Study at Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga; that they will continue to have fruitful follow up conversations with new connections on campus.

Pray that in line with AFES’ first value, by His grace, God will transform lives on our campuses into the likeness of Jesus.

Pray for Bendigo Christian Union as they prepare for their Girls Getaway and Blokes Camp with Ballarat & Geelong on 17-19 April. Please pray that it would be an encouraging and enriching weekend away, and for opportunities to invite non-Christian friends.

Pray that UBS CSU Albury-Wodonga will continue to have the courage and wisdom to share the Gospel on campus.

Pray that USQ Christian Students students would reflect on the recent Kick Off Camp on the book of Jonah and that they would consider their role in evangelism.

Pray for CU Deakin Uni Burwood and their many new committed First Years; that they would feel welcomed and loved, and would spur each other on in their faith and deeds.

Pray that UQES Brisbane would reach a Goal of having a Gospel conversation with 1 percent of Queensland Uni.

Pray for BCU Fed Uni and that God would be at work across campus during this season, preparing hearts and drawing students to Himself through everyday interactions.

Pray that AFES will double our reach in calling people to turn back to Jesus in repentance and faith.

Pray for CCU Curtin Uni Perth staff as they prepare for MYC.

Pray that EOC ACU Strathfield members may be bold in sharing their faith on campus.

Praise God for the encouragement of people coming to the evangelistic Bible talks run by CU UNE Armidale and pray that as the talks continue on Thursday nights, people will continue to come and hear the gospel, and may they come to know and grow in Jesus.

Praise God for the recent ANU FOCUS weekend away: for the creation of deep friendships and pray that students will continue to reflect on the unity they have through Christ.

Pray for the Uni Fellowship Hobart groups meeting publicly across campuses; that the focus on global mission and prayer might draw their eyes outward to God’s wider plan of salvation, and that as faith-filled relationships grow they might encourage and equip one another to share the hope of Jesus in their local community.

Praise God that Sunshine Coast CS has seen the introduction of many of First Years and pray that they wiill grow as Christians together.

Pray for Uni Fellowship Launceston and their upcoming prayer nights: for God’s wisdom for these gatherings.

Pray that AFES will double our numbers offering themselves for Missionary Service.

Please pray for First Year students at CBS at UNSW as they come to the end of their first term at university; that they would continue to trust and serve the true and living God.

Pray for EOC ACU North Sydney and that community will continue to be fostered through the Bible talks and growth groups.

Prayer for Melbourne Uni GCU to continue to be bold in their fiath and to find joy and pleasure in the presence of Jesus.
