Pray for University of Wollongong Uni Bible Group as they meet in one another’s homes ‘Dinners for 9’ from 1-3 May; that these dinners will encourage gospel community between students at UOW.

Pray for Canberra Christian Society at Australian Catholic University, Canberra and thank God for the recent combined prayer meeting with the Catholic ministry.
Pray that Campus Bible Ministries students at Western Sydney University, Bankstown/Liverpool will continue to grow in their faith and knowledge of Jesus, through making bible study a priority.

Pray for the Christian Fellowship at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga ‘Blokes Camp’ running from 3-5 May; that it will run smoothly without serious injury and that God will move through people.
Pray for Ballarat Christians at Uni, at Federation University and the upcoming John Drama event; that for the preparations and that many will attend and hear the good news.

Pray that Edith Cowan University Christian Union, Mt Lawley, Perth, through their Bible studies, can support new Christians, non-Christians, and Christians going through difficult periods.
Pray for CBU (IFES Uruguay) and give thanks for the recent student training and for the good relations with local churches. Pray that the students who have been trained will step out in faith, start groups, and see God at work. Pray also that the upcoming retreat and Mark Drama outreach will inspire and engage more students.

Pray for Orange Christian Students at Charles Sturt University as they prepare for their annual ‘Recovery BBQ’ on 5 May; that they would serve their campus well and there would be many opportunities for bold conversations in which the campus can Meet Jesus.
Pray for the ‘mini mission’ that James Cook University, Cairns Christian Students will hold in Atherton on 5 May; that they would be an encouragement to the people that they serve and that they might share Jesus faithfully to the church there.

AFES Evangelism || “Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” John 8:12 | Meet Jesus: Enter the light The darkness of sin is deceptive. Pray we’ll shine the light of Jesus’s truth that many will be enlightened from the Scriptures.
Pray for Credo at the University of Technology Sydney; that God would use their upcoming Overseas Mission Supporters Night on 6 May: for boldness as the team shares their plans and for a joyful partnership in prayer and in their finances with them.

Pray for Murdoch Christians United at Murdoch University, WA and their upcoming ‘Faith & Film’ event on 7 May; that many people would come along and be challenged to consider their need for Jesus.
Pray that in line with the AFES Mission statement we will together present students on our campuses mature in Jesus (by God’s strength).

Pray for an increase of interest in the ‘Monday Muster’ training of University Fellowship of Christians at the University of Tasmania, Launceston; that it will help students to continue maturing in Christ.
Thu 9
Pray that Campus Bible Ministries at Western Sydney University, Bankstown/Liverpool students would have opportunities to implement the cultural training that they received during the mid-semester break.
AFES FOCUS || Pray for the FOCUS National Strategy Team meeting on 9 May as plans are made for the FOCUS Staff Conference and other means for up-skilling staff.

Pray that as University of New England, Armidale Christians United approach the exam season, ‘Text for a toastie’ 10-11 and 17-18 May will be a fun way for students to engage with the gospel, as they text in a question about Jesus and receive their answer with a hot toastie.

Praise God that a non-Christian student is regularly coming Uni Bible Study at Charles Sturt University, Albury-Wodonga and reading Uncover John.
Pray for University of Southern Queensland Christian Students staff as they prepare for Mid-Year Camp.

Pray for Campus Bible Ministries at Western Sydney University, Campbelltown; that God will guide their bible study leaders as they look through Hebrews.
Pray for the Bundoora Christian Union at La Trobe University, Bundoora as they prepare for SUMMIT; that many people will register to come.

Pray for Christians at University at Australian Catholic University, Melbourne as they continue to share the Gospel on campus to other students and classmates.
Pray for CCX (IFES Ukraine) and praise God that despite the ongoing war, students, staff, and volunteers have been able to continue ministry across the country, including new weekly Bible studies, discussion clubs and other events in Kyiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk. Thank God that outreach camps and conferences have brought together students from 26 cities, with many non-Christians engaging with the Bible for the first time. Pray that the Lord will continue to awaken faith and strengthen the weary.

Praise God for all the great gospel-centered conversations that Sydney University Evangelical Union students have been having through walk-up evangelism on campus, and pray that many more will happen.
Pray that in line with AFES’ first value, by His grace, God will transform lives on our campuses into the likeness of Jesus.

Thank God that a number people have already signed up for the Griffith Christian Students at Griffith University, Brisbane ‘Mid-year Camp’, happening in July, and pray for those who are organising this event.
Give thanks to God for the visitors to Campus Bible Ministries at Western Sydney University, Penrith throughout the semester attending Thursday bible talks and the bible studies throughout the week.

Pray that Melbourne University Christian Union students will grow in prayerful dependence on God in all circumstances and that a culture of prayer will be established within each student and their club as a whole.
Pray that God will continue to help CCS ACU Canberra focus on Jesus even as the semester becomes busier.

Pray for Evangelicals on Campus, at the Australian Catholic University, North Sydney group as they prepare for their MYC event in July; that God would encourage students to come along to the event and that he will open the hearts and minds of the students that come along so that they would be grown and challenged in their faith.
Pray that members of CU UNE Armidale will invite their unbelieving friends to ‘Jesus and Cheeses’ on 18 May and that the event would spark casual conversations about faith through an evangelistic talk, all while enjoying a great charcuterie selection.

Pray for faithful student leaders at CU ECU Mt Lawley Perth to fill the roles of President and Vice President next semester.
Pray for USQ Christian Students‘ mission on campus, in particular for the FOCUS group; that more students would join, making friends and meeting Jesus.

Pray for Bundoora CU La Trobe; that they continue to disciple and build fellowship with students.

Pray for the CF CSU Wagga Wagga Sunday dinners happening throughout the semester; that they will help draw in new people and reach those who need them.
Pray that AFES will double our reach in calling people to turn back to Jesus in repentance and faith by 2025.
Pray for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IFES USA) and give thanks for one student’s desire to start campus ministry at Onondaga Community College (OCC), New York that led to an InterVarsity group that has now become an official OCC club, enjoying good relations with the Student Affairs Office and other clubs. Pray that God will firmly establish this new group and guide InterVarsity as it seeks to support ministry in community colleges in addition to its ministry on university campuses.

Pray that newer students would continue to grow and attend CBM WSU Bankstown/Liverpool, especially as their study load increases.
Pray for Orange CS CSU as they invite the group to Mid-Year Conference; that the group will prioritise this as a time in the word and of fellowship with the other Charles Sturt Uni campuses.
Thu 23
Pray for the Meet Jesus event on 16 August in Launceston’ that students of Uni Fellowship Launceston will be ready to proclaim His name and engage with everyone on campus.
Pray that AFES will double our numbers offering themselves for Missionary Service by 2025.
Fri 24
Prayer for ACUCU Melbourne; that they will continue to display Christ to one another, building each other up.
Pray for Melbourne Uni CU as they pray for and consider future leaders; that God will rise up new leaders who have a servant heart and are motivated to lead in order to serve others.
Sat 25
Pray for wisdom for the UBS CSU Albury-Wodonga committee as they prayerfully consider what activities to do on campus, given there is a smaller capacity in group size.
Pray for EOC ACU North Sydney members: for boldness and guidance as they continue to be lights to those on the North Sydney campus through promoting the Meet Jesus mission.

Pray for CBM WSU Campbelltown’s members; that they will continue to attend bible studies and will sign up for MYC to grow in their faith.
Pray that CBM WSU Bankstown/Liverpool students would consider and commit to coming to the mid-year conference in the first week of July.

Pray for non-Christian, Murdoch University students who are engaging with the MCU Murdoch Uni WA stall; that they would have their hearts and minds changed by hearing the gospel proclaimed to them. Pray that MCU students would love their neighbours by sharing the good news of the gospel.
Tue 28
Pray for the CS JCU Cairns ice-cream give a way on 28 and 30 May. Praise God that in previous years similar stalls have helped students to stop and reflect who God is. Pray that through the stall JCU Cairns may be challenged to consider Jesus.
AFES FOCUS || Pray for FOCUS students to know and trust Jesus while completing assignments and preparing for upcoming exams.

Pray for the Uni Bible Group UOW as they invite students to their Mid-Year Conference on the Holy Spirit; that many students would be keen to understand what God’s word says about the Holy Spirit.
Pray for BCU Fed Uni committee; that they will continue to be able to manage their time well.
Thu 30
Pray for the EU Sydney Uni students who are currently reading Uncover with non-Christian friends; that God would be strengthening His disciples as they read, and softening hearts of unbelievers to accept His grace.
Fri 31
Pray for confidence for CBM WSU Penrith members to invite their friends to their bible groups, and that God would work in the hearts and minds of all who attend.
