Each year, AFES partners with schools in Sydney and Melbourne to help Year 12 students think well about life after school — especially the transition to university.
Through these visits, students hear directly from current university students about what uni life is really like, and how they can connect with an AFES group on campus when they begin their studies.
We would love to organise a visit where current AFES university students speak with your Year 12s about:
These sessions are practical, student‑focused, and grounded in real uni experience.
What could a visit look like?
We’re flexible and keen to work around what suits your school context. A visit could be:
Where possible, we love sending former students from your school back to speak with your Year 12s.

School visits are a great way to serve Year 12 students, represent AFES well, and help others prepare for the jump to uni.
How the process works:
The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) is a national movement of Christian uni students. Across campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, and around Australia, AFES exists to proclaim Jesus Christ at uni, and to help students think carefully about how their faith shapes all of life — including study, work, and relationships.
Each year, thousands of students connect with AFES groups on campus. Some are exploring Christianity for the first time; many are Christians looking for deep community and solid teaching as they begin university.
